Amazon Services EU is looking for a talented, passionate and confident Senior Online Marketing Specialist to drive awareness and demand for Sponsored Products in the EU. This is an incredibly exciting opportunity for a motivated, hard-working and customer-focused online marketing specialist to get involved in driving the growth of an important new business in possibly the most dynamic part of ecommerce in a fast-paced and entrepreneurial work environment.

As Senior Online Marketing Specialist, you will be responsible for planning, executing and measuring the performance of our online marketing campaigns, driving relevant traffic to our marketing websites and optimising conversion to registration. You will drive marketing content onto the web to reach our target segments to drive product demand via multiple online channels including social and email. You will analyze traffic and other web metrics and report on performance to our management teams.

The ideal candidate will be innovative, team oriented, an effective communicator, have a desire to participate in change and appreciate a dynamic environment with rapidly changing priorities. We are seeking someone with demonstrated history of successful project ownership and using customer data to identify and prioritize opportunities. An understanding of, and passion for, technology is highly desired.

General Responsibilities:

  • Planning and executing the online marketing campaigns for Amazon Services Europe’s merchant services products
  • Develop, execute, and analyze creative test plans for marketing channels;
  • Own and maintain the marketing sites, social media and email marketing;
  • Synthesize, analyze and report marketing campaign metrics;
  • Own the end to end experience for our products and services.

The candidate must be able to demonstrate the following:

  • Fluency in English required
  • Experience designing and executing online customer experiences
  • Strong communication skills: experience in coordinating teams and communicating to management
  • Strong bias for action and ability to prioritize
  • Ability to use hard data and metrics to prioritize marketing spend per channel and market
  • Aptitude for organization, flexibility and producing results in a fast paced environment
  • Technical ability in using big data plus the ability to learn in-house tools quickly


The ideal candidate will demonstrate the following:

  • Ability to act and think tactically and strategically
  • Master’s/MBA degree preferred
  • Able to speak one other European language
  • SQL skills and familiarity with statistical methods preferable.
